Filters

When you need to narrow down the scope of work you’d like to see at a particular moment, filters come to the rescue.

Filter cards by members, labels and lists

Filters in Planyway are located at the top right. Click on the filter icon to open the dropdown menu. Select members, labels or lists to filter your cards.

Filters apply not only to the cards on the timeline or calendar but to the cards in the task panel as well:

Filter by Trello Custom fields

Note: This option is available in the Planyway Chrome extension only.

Custom fields is a Trello Power-up which allows users to add more context to their cards. Read the Trello blog article to find out more about Custom Fields.

Planyway can show date type custom fields on the timeline or calendar. Here’s a simple instruction on how to do it:

  1. Open View settings and choose to display custom fields
  1. Click and find the Custom fields filters
  2. Choose which filters you’d like to enable
  3. Select Clear all to disable all filters
Note: This option is available in the Planyway Chrome extension only.

When you use Trello search on your board, its results are visible in Planyway too. Use Labels, Members and Due date options to quickly sort out cards accordingly. Besides, you can type custom search requests in the search box:

Note: This option is available in the Planyway web app and Power-Up only.

To make sure that none of your tasks are left unscheduled, use the filter in the task panel.

Lost your cards? Disable filters to see all cards

When you need to see all cards back again, click on the filter icon to clear all filters.
