For Jira Cloud, Planyway’s pricing is based on the number of users in the Jira apps on your Atlassian site, in accordance with Atlassian Marketplace licensing rules.
For Cloud subscriptions, billing follows Atlassian's rules: monthly subscriptions use Maximum Quantity Billing, so if you add users during the billing cycle, the additional users are charged on a prorated basis. Removing users mid-cycle doesn't reduce the bill for that period; the lower user count takes effect in the next billing cycle. Annual Cloud subscriptions are based on user tiers, so exceeding your current tier requires an upgrade. For Data Center, subscriptions are also tier-based. The upgrade is prorated for the remainder of the current subscription term.
Yes. Cloud and Data Center use different billing models. Cloud subscriptions are available monthly or annually, while Data Center subscriptions are annual and follow fixed user tiers. Data Center Marketplace apps must match the user tier of the corresponding host Jira product.
The trial is provided through Atlassian Marketplace and gives you access to all features available in Planyway for Jira.
Atlassian determines eligibility and pricing for nonprofit and educational discounts on Marketplace apps. If your Jira subscription qualifies for a special discount, the same pricing terms may also apply to eligible Marketplace apps. Refunds are subject to Atlassian Marketplace's refund policy. Monthly Cloud subscriptions are eligible for a refund only during the first paid month after the trial, while new annual Cloud subscriptions can be refunded within 30 days of the initial purchase. Cloud renewals and upgrades are non-refundable. Data Center licenses are also eligible for refunds within 30 days of the initial purchase.
