Planyway and CCPA

Throughout this policy, when we write “Planyway” or «we» or «us», we’re referring to Rsoftware LLP (“Rsoftware”). We are using following abbreviations: planyway.com (“Site”), by Planyway browser extension, Trello Power-Up, Planyway web app, Planyway mobile app or Github plugin (“Service”).
Planyway is complying with the CCPA and considering its underlying principles in how we think about customer's trust and data privacy as the core of our business. We are providing this CCPA-specific privacy notice to supplement the information and disclosures already contained in our Privacy Policy. This notice applies to individuals residing in California from whom we collect Personal Information.
We do not sell your Personal Information
The chart below outlines the categories of Personal Information (which are defined by the CCPA, not us) that we have collected and/or disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding twelve months. The examples of Personal Information provided for each category are taken from the CCPA and are included to help you understand what the categories mean. The examples are not meant to indicate what we actually collect or disclose, and more information about our specific practices can be found in our Privacy Policy and “Planyway and GDPR”.

Personal information does not include:
- Publicly available information from government records.
- Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.
- Information excluded from the CCPA's scope, like:
- health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) or clinical trial data;
- personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994.
Planyway obtains the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you. For example, from forms you complete or Service you purchase.
- Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our Site.
Use of Personal Information
We may use, or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:
- To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you share your name and contact information to request a price quote or ask a question about our products or services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry;
- To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Site and/or Service;
- To provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including investigating and addressing your concerns and monitoring and improving our responses;
- To help maintain safety, security, and integrity of our Site and Service;
- For testing, research, analysis, and product development, including developing and improving our Site and Service;
- To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
- As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA.
- To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Planyway assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Planyway about our Site users is among the assets transferred.
Planyway will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.
Collection and Disclosure of Personal Information
In the preceding twelve months since this notice was last updated, we have collected Personal Information from general sources including you, your use of our services, your devices, our affiliates, our vendors, and our service providers. More specific information about Personal Information we collect is laid out in this notice and in our Privacy Policy and “Planyway and GDPR”, which we update from time to time.
As also explained in our Privacy Policy, we share your Personal Information with the following categories of CCPA third parties:
- Third parties integrated into our services.
- Third parties as required by law and similar disclosures.
- Third parties in connection with a merger, sale, or asset transfer.
- Other third parties for whom we have obtained your permission to disclose your Personal Information.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may exercise the following rights.
- Right to Know and Access. You may submit a verifiable request for information regarding the: (1) categories of Personal Information collected or disclosed by us; (2) purposes for which categories of Personal Information are collected by us; (3) categories of sources from which we collect Personal Information; and (4) specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you during the past twelve months.
- Submit Requests for delete.
Send a request to support@planyway.com with the following information:
- Your full name;
- Your email address;
- What you would like to request (a copy of your Personal Data, to amend your Personal Data or to permanently delete your Personal Data).
We will provide you with this information within one month of receipt of the request.
- Right to Equal Service and Price. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your CCPA privacy rights, subject to certain limitations.
- Shine the Light. We do not rent, sell, or share your Personal Information with nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission.
