Some work items are too big for one person, or need several people to work on them at different stages. Now, Planyway for Jira allows you to assign a single work item to multiple users with Multi-assign or Split, giving a clearer view of how the work is shared across your team.
Each assigned piece appears separately on the timeline, so you can see who is responsible for what. You can also give each piece its own estimate, with those estimates included in workload calculations.
Use Multi-assign or Split for things like:
- Sharing work between team members: Assign the same work item to several people when they contribute to it.
- Splitting estimates: Give each person their own estimate based on how much work they’re expected to do.
- Balancing workloads: See each person’s share of the work in workload calculations and adjust assignments when needed.
