How to delete an issue in Jira

Here is a super quick guide on how to delete an issue in Jira:

1. Open your Jira project.
2. If you work in the Backlog, List or All work views you can bulk delete work items. Tick the items you want to delete.
3. Click Delete in the button of the screen. Confirm by typing the word “delete”.
4. You can also choose an issue you want to delete in the Board view. Simply click the three-dot menu and select delete. Or open the work item and delete it from the three-dot menu from there.
