Navigation
Let’s start with an overview of the main parts of Planyway’s interface:

Orientation
To choose an orientation for the Planyway Chrome extension, click the icon in the upper-right corner and choose an orientation: top, bottom, left, or right.

To choose an orientation in the Planyway Power-Up and web app, click the orientation button in the upper-right corner of the task list area. Then, choose an orientation: bottom, left, or right.

Settings
Card appearance
To change the appearance of a card, click the icon in the upper-right corner and choose “Card appearance.”

You can choose to view cards in the Light theme or the Colorful theme. In the Colorful theme, cards are colored to match their labels. In the Light theme, labels are shown in the upper part of each card.

You can also choose between Detailed and Compact views. In the Detailed view, cards are shown with additional information: board name, start and end dates, and duration.

View settings
Сustomize the Calendar or Timeline view by clicking the icon in the navigation bar. You can choose to show weekends, archived and completed cards, milestones and checklist items.

Working days and hours
To set working hours and days, and to choose which day weeks should start on, click the in the navigation bar and choose Settings from the menu.


Default card duration
You can set the default card duration to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day.

Linking a Trello due date to a card’s start or end date
In Trello, you can set only one date for a card, called its due date. Planyway lets you set both start and end dates. Depending on your needs, you can choose to link Trello due dates to start dates, end dates or not at all.
To change the linking option, click the icon in the upper-right corner and choose Settings. In the pop-up, choose an option from the “Link due date to” menu.

For other cards, choose an option from the “Link due time to” menu.
